Flax Crackers

These are delicious, healthy and look much more fancy-looking than Salticrax. A great addition to any cheese or snack board, to be topped with whatever you usually put on your toast, sprinkled over a salad like croutons, or even just snacked on plain, like you would munch on chips. So versatile and easy to make in large batches, not to mention budget friendly

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup flax seeds
  •  ½ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp chipotle flakes
  • ½ tsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 cup water

How they’re made

  1. Mix all seeds and spices in a medium bowl
  2. Add water and mix well
  3. Cover the bowl and place in refridgerater for 12-18 hours
  4. Preheat oven to 130°C
  5. Mix flax seed mixture and spread onto parchment paperhjk
  6. Bake for 50-60 min until crispy and all moisture has gone.fghj
  7. Allow to cool for 10 min and then break into piecesrtyh
  8. Keep in an airtight containertyhj
