A great addition to any cheese or snack board, to be topped with whatever you usually put on your toast, sprinkled over a salad like croutons, or even just snacked on plain, like you would munch on chips. So versatile and easy to make in large batches, not to mention budget friendly
Ingredients
- 1 cup flax seeds
- ½ cup sesame seeds
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp oregano
- ¼ tsp chipotle flakes
- ½ tsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 cup water
How they’re made
- Mix all seeds and spices in a medium bowl
- Add water and mix well
- Cover the bowl and place in refridgerater for 12-18 hours
- Preheat oven to 130°C
- Mix flax seed mixture and spread onto parchment paper
- Bake for 50-60 min until crispy and all moisture has gone.
- Allow to cool for 10 min and then break into pieces
- Keep in an airtight container
